MEA Weekend

We finished our long MEA weekend. Thursday Baylie and Bryndie spent all day playing with their neighbor friends Shyla and Kylynn. They always have fun when they get together. Friday Cameron was home so we took the kids to a movie. We saw The Game Plan, which was very good. Bryndie was so excited to see Dwane "the Rock" Johnson, we decided she watches too much Disney Channel to know his full name! She also knew the little girls first name too. (Can't remember what it is!?!) The girls love to go to the movie theater, I think it's mostly for the popcorn than the actual movie though. They did sit through this one, even Payton watched parts of it and didn't cry through the whole thing! (such a plus when there are other people in the theater!) Saturday we went to Taylors Falls with some friends. We climbed on rocks and looked down at the St Croix river. The leaves are changing color right now so it was really pretty.

Bryndie was really fasinated with all the ladybugs. (notice picture above!) They were everywhere! She was trying to catch them all and carry them with her. Finally we just took a picture with one so she could have the picture instead of all the ladybugs she had been trying to keep in her hand. The one pictured is alive and was let go to live with its family! I can't say the same for all the other ones she caught :(

Payton spent the whole time in this backpack. He seemed to enjoy it and stayed pretty relaxed, he slept most of the time! Wake up for the picture :)

Heres a look at the trails we were walking on. Baylie and Braden are way up there and Bryndie is posing! It was a fun day.

That night there was a Halloween light parade in Anoka so we left Taylors Falls and went to that. The floats were a little too far apart so it seemed long but the kids enjoyed the candy that was thrown their way and the lights on the floats. Payton got some beads from the Anoka High School football team! GO ANOKA!This float had Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on it so we couldn't get Bryndie to look at the camera long enough for a picture! She loves princesses. (kindof like the ladybugs before!)
