MN State Fair
I can't go to the fair without getting the bucket of Chocolate Chip cookies! mmmmm....they are so good. (we did get the cheese curds too, can't miss those either!)
Labor Day family canoe trip, Taylors Falls, MN
St Croix river
Baylie, Payton, Cameron and I were in one canoe.
On one side of the river it's MN and the other side it's WI, so we asked Baylie, "what state are we in when we are in the middle of the river?" She answered "Minneconsin" Clever girl!
Bryndie was with Grandma and Grandpa
Jeff, Annette and Vincent were in another
We took some time to swim in the river, the water was a little cold but it was still fun.
First day of school....the girls were really excited. Payton was too until he realized he was NOT going on the bus with them. It was tough the first couple of days without the girls around but he has adjusted.....and I am getting there!
Baylie - 4th grade : Bryndie - 1st grade
Cameron gave me a trip to Vermont for my birthday, which I used a little early. It was so much fun to hang out with my good friend Marla again.....we pretty much saw it all!
Vermont is a beautiful state.

While driving to Marla's house I looked out the car window and saw this elephant bush in the field. Too Funny!

We even spent some time in Boston.

We were pretty proud of ourselves for finding our way around, riding the subway, and accidentally running into everything we wanted to see, like these ducks in the park.

The weekend after I got home Annette took a trip to UT so we got to have Vincent come play while Jeff was at work. It was nice to have him here to play with Payton since the girls were in school. We went to the park, the boys had so much fun. They are such good little friends.

We decided to take our kids to the High School homecoming football game, we don't personally know any of the players but we do know one of the cheerleaders. The girls enjoyed watching her and Payton was in heaven watching the game. He would often say "my turn, my turn!" The people sitting around us thought it was pretty funny watching Payton cheer and clap and dance around, so excited. I think we have a future player on our hands, with much joy from his father.
