We are finally done with surgery. We went down to the OR around 1:15 and finally came back to our room at around 7. The actual surgery took about 3 1/2 hours. Dr Anderson, the
surgeon, said Payton did a great job and everything went smooth. He has a spinal block, which will last about six hours, so he will be numb from the waist down. He is also on morphine so I don't think he can feel much pain, yet. He has another
NG tube which he will have to have for the next couple of days. After they take that out he can try eating and we will see what happens. Thank you for all the wonderful comments, thoughts, and prayers. We really appreciate it.
Here is Payton with Cam right before surgery.

Here he is right after!

He's such a tough little guy! We are so proud of him.
